Matthew Trim Has Many Years of Experience in Progressively Responsible Positions in Various Sectors

Commercial real estate agent, Founder/Director of Commercial Adelaide Real Estate Group, Matthew Trim got his career start in 1998 with Trims Retail, Adelaide as a Retail Operations Manager. In his five years of service in Trims Retail, he brought many positive changes in the company, including playing a lead role in the execution of commercial management strategies that drove growth beyond $15m per annum, which he achieved by focusing on modernisation and continual process improvements.

On his way to becoming a successful business management professional, Matthew Trim, in 2003, founded a Hospitality Group in Adelaide encompassing restaurants, bars and pubs across the North Adelaide and Norwood region employing approximately 70 employees. He managed operational planning, strategy, project management, operations, finance and people management across various group assets, including Grace the Establishment, Sparrow Kitchen and Bar, The Manse Restaurant, The Banque Bar, Queens Head Hotel, and Farina Kitchen and Bar. Within three years, he successfully built Trim Hospitality from a start-up business to $5m with significant and sustained increases to gross profit and EBITDA. Along with that, he acquired and turned around many poor performing businesses to become award winning restaurants.

In 2012, Matthew Trim purchased 131 Pizza that provided member stores services, including the 131 Pizza national phone service, 131 Pizza service and licence branding, website, online and app ordering functionality, business coaching services, consulting, and national purchasing arrangements. With his outstanding sales and closing skills, he successfully built 131 Pizza to become the largest independent Pizza group within Australia with more than 200 member stores nation-wide. He successfully developed new business streams that aided organisational profitability, formed long lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders, and also worked with numerous restaurants to increase their revenue and profitability.
